Baseball – Understanding Right Field

Very often, youngsters who play baseball and who are not considered to be “excellent” at the game are relegated to right field. Right field is not the most desirable position in the game. However, perhaps it must be. After all, several of the world’s ideal baseball greats played this position.

In baseball, unlike various other sports, players need to play both offense and defense. They need to have the ability to play one of the infield positions or outfield settings.
