Welcome to the tutorial on how to navigate the Reflect Touch. My name is Sam, and I’m here to guide you through the setup process. First, ensure that your Reflect is plugged in and the switch underneath is turned on. Press and hold the Echelon logo to power on your Reflect, and you will see a dialog box prompt you to connect to your Wi-Fi. Select your Wi-Fi network, input your password, and connect. Afterwards, sign in to the app with your username and password, tap the screen to start, and choose the family member who will be working out. From here, you’ll have access to all the amazing features and workouts the Reflect has to offer. Let’s get started!

Getting Started

Turning on the Reflect

To begin using your Echelon Reflect, make sure that it is plugged in and the switch underneath is turned on. Locate the Echelon logo on the device and press and hold it to turn on the Reflect.

Connecting to Wi-Fi

Once the Reflect is turned on, a dialog box will appear on the screen prompting you to connect to Wi-Fi. Select your Wi-Fi network, enter your password, and connect to establish a connection.

Signing in to the App

After connecting to Wi-Fi, you will need to sign in to the Echelon app. Enter your username and password, and then tap the screen to start. Select the family member who will be using the Reflect to proceed.

Navigating the Categories Page

Viewing Favorites and Intro Classes

The Categories page is where you can access all the available class types. You will also find a section for your favorite classes and an introduction to classes. These sections help you easily find the classes that interest you the most.

Selecting a Category

Scroll through the categories and tap on the one you wish to explore. This will show you the upcoming live classes for that specific category. If you prefer on-demand classes, they will be available in a separate section.

Adding a Class to Favorites

If you come across a class that you enjoy and want to easily access it in the future, you can add it to your favorites list. Simply tap on the class and select the option to add it to your favorites.

Taking a Class

Selecting a Class

When you find a class that you want to take, tap on it to select it. This will bring up more information about the class, including the duration, instructor, and difficulty level.

Viewing Class Description

To get a better understanding of what the class entails, you can read the class description. This provides a brief overview of what you can expect during the workout.

Connecting Heart Rate Monitor and Bluetooth Headphones

Before or during a class, you have the option to connect your heart rate monitor and Bluetooth headphones. Simply put your devices in pairing mode and tap the relevant icons on the screen to establish a connection.

Playing the Class

Once you are ready to start the class, press the play button. During the class, you will compete on the leaderboard based on your heart rate. The class will progress according to the instructor’s guidance.

Adjusting Volume

If you want to adjust the volume during the class, tap the volume button on the screen. You can then use the plus or minus buttons to increase or decrease the volume to your desired level.

Pausing the Video

If you need to pause the video during the class, simply tap on the screen and press the pause button. This will temporarily stop the workout until you are ready to resume.

Exiting the Class

To exit the class, press the exit button on the screen. This will take you back to the Categories page, where you can choose another class or explore different categories.

Viewing Upcoming Live Classes

Browsing and Filtering by Date

To see all the upcoming live classes, select the Live tab. Here, you can browse through the classes and filter them by date. This allows you to easily find the classes that fit your schedule.

Filtering by Class Type

In addition to filtering classes by date, you also have the option to filter them by class type. Whether you prefer strength training, yoga, or cycling, you can easily find the classes that align with your fitness goals.

Viewing Progress

Viewing Classes Taken

To track your progress and see the classes you have taken, go to the Progress tab. Here, you can view your classes taken either by week or by month. This helps you keep track of your workout consistency.

Viewing Total Workouts, Duration, and Calories Burned

In the Progress tab, you can also see the total number of workouts you have completed, the total duration of your workouts, and the calories burned during your sessions. This allows you to track your overall fitness achievements.

Viewing Class Rank, Heart Rate, and Total Calories Burned

For each individual class you’ve taken, you can view your class rank, heart rate during the workout, and the total number of calories burned. This information provides insights into your performance and progress.

Deleting a Class

If you want to remove a class from your progress history, simply select the class, tap the three dots, and choose the option to delete the class.

Adjusting Settings

Switching User

If multiple family members use the Reflect, you can easily switch between users. Tap the switch user option in the More tab and select the family member who wants to work out.

Signing Out

To sign out of the Echelon app, go to the More tab and select the sign out option. This is useful if you are using a shared device or want to keep your account secure.

Checking for an Update

To make sure your Reflect has the latest software, you can check for updates in the More tab. Simply tap the check for an update option, and if an update is available, follow the prompts to install it.

Adjusting Volume and Brightness

From the More tab, you can easily adjust the volume and brightness levels of the Reflect. This allows you to customize the audio and visual settings to your preferences.

Changing Wi-Fi

If you need to connect your Reflect to a different Wi-Fi network, you can do so in the More tab. Select the change Wi-Fi option and follow the prompts to connect to a new network.

Changing Time Zone

To ensure accurate time display on your Reflect, you can change the time zone settings. In the More tab, select the time zone option, scroll to find your time zone, and tap on it to set it.

Setting Location

Setting your location is important for accurate weather and local class information. In the More tab, select the location option, choose your country, and add your postal code.

Enabling ADA Settings

If you require ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) settings, you can enable them in the More tab. Tap on the ADA settings option, toggle it on, and select the safe option to activate ADA mode.

Using ADA Mode

Accessing Classes in ADA Mode

When in ADA mode, you can easily access classes by swiping down on the screen during a class. The metrics and selection options, such as volume, leaderboard, and exit, are displayed lower on the screen for easier accessibility.

Viewing Metrics and Selection Options

While in ADA mode, you can view important metrics, such as heart rate and calories burned, along with the selection options. This ensures that you have all the necessary information and controls at your fingertips.

Exiting ADA Mode

To exit ADA mode, simply press the back button with the red arrow. This will take you back to the regular Reflect interface.
